1 Getting Started

Do I need an account to book a professional?

Yes. Creating a free account takes about 60 seconds and allows you to book, track jobs, communicate with professionals and view your history.

Is HomeFix available in my city?

Currently active in Milan, Rome, Turin, Bologna, Florence, Venice, Verona, Mantova and surrounding areas. New cities launch monthly — sign up to get notified when we come to yours.

How do I find the right professional for my job?

Search by service type or professional name, then filter by rating, distance, price and availability. Read reviews from other customers and check their portfolio photos before booking.

2 Bookings

Can I cancel a booking for free?

Yes — free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a small cancellation fee.

How do I track the professional on the day?

Once your professional is on the way, you'll receive a push notification with live status updates. You can chat with them directly through the app at any time.

What if the professional doesn't show up?

Contact our support team immediately. We'll find you a replacement professional as quickly as possible and you won't be charged for the original booking.

3 Payments & Invoices

When am I charged?

Payment is collected only after the job is completed and you confirm you're satisfied. We never charge you before the work is done.

Can I get a refund?

If you have a legitimate complaint about the work, contact support within 48 hours. We review every case fairly and issue refunds where appropriate. Refunds typically appear in 3–5 business days.

Where is my invoice?

Every completed job generates a PDF invoice automatically sent to your email. You can also download it any time from your account under My Jobs → select the job → Download Invoice.

4 Safety & Trust

How do I report a problem with a professional?

Go to My Jobs, select the booking and tap "Report an issue". Describe what happened and our safety team will investigate within 24 hours. In case of emergency, contact local authorities first.

Are all professionals background checked?

Every professional is verified for ID, professional qualifications and liability insurance before being listed. Profiles with red flags are immediately suspended pending review.
